Nigerians have shown their displeasure in the House of Representatives revelation that the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC will begin to bear arms to curtail the excesses of road users in the nation.
Recall that KOKO TV reported that the Chairman of the Committee, Akinfolarin Mayowa, said this during the FRSC 2020 budget performance and 2021 budget defence, on Thursday in Abuja.
Taking to social media, Nigerians describe this an unnecessary as it would only cause more harm than good and more brutality to the citizens.

Many sarcastically noted that after the FRSC, other agencies like LAWMA, LASTMA, corps like the NYSC and groups such as the NURTW will also be allowed to use guns afterwards. See some reactions below:
