Federal Government declared Tuesday, May 1st as a public holiday to commemorate the Workers Day

The Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Abdulraham Danbazau (RTD) on behalf of the Federal Government declared Tuesday, May 1st as a public holiday to commemorate the Workers Day. The announcement was made through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. M. Umar on Friday, 27th April.

Dambazau congratulated Nigerian workers for their strength, sacrifice, dedication and character in building a better and greater country. The minister also appreciated the central role workers play in the decision making of this administration and also believing in the Buhari administration in building a better Nigeria.
