Saudi Arabia Announce Plans To Stop Nigerians From Attending The 2018 Hajj

Several reports have emerged claiming that the leadership of Saudi Arabia are planning to stop Nigerian pilgrims from attending the 2018 Hajj exercise.
According to Premium Times, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria disclosed that the Arabian government are planning to take the decision because of the Lassa fever outbreak in several parts of Nigeria.
However, the Nigerian Hajj Commission has disclosed that the Federal Government of Nigeria is already making several moves to avoid the religious disaster. The Spokesperson of the Commission, Mousa Ubandawaki said: “There will be an expanded meeting of all officials from the 36 states, the Commission and officials of the Federal Government to discuss the matter tomorrow.”
