Senator Dino Melaye Moved To Lokoja Following Arrest By SARS Operatives

Dino Melaye is being moved to his home state, Lokoja, following arrest by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad operatives on Tuesday morning.

According to Vanguard, the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is expected to be paraded later this evening among other hardened criminals who implicated him in the crime that necessitated his arrest.
Dino Melaye LokojaDino Melaye was reportedly handcuffed to avoid possible escape from the security operatives in Abuja. The parade of Melaye and other criminal suspects, among them the re-arrested suspects who had escaped from prison cell, is to be conducted by the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Aremu Adediran, on behalf of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jimoh Moshood, who is currently in China.
On April 3, the Nigeria Police Force warned the senator representing Kogi, to appear in court ahead of his arraignment on May 10, 2018. The Police had on March 24, 2018, issued an invitation and a court summon had been issued to Senator Melaye, both of which he did not honour.
“I will make myself available to the police today,” Melaye tweeted this morning (April 24). “My resolve to speak the truth and defend the poor masses of NIGERIA is Total. We shall overcome.”
