In a bid to ensure equitable distribution of wealth during this COVID-19 pandemic, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) has set up a funds monitoring team.
Spokesperson of the Commission, Mrs Rasheedat Okoduwa, made this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.
She said the team will work closely with the presidential team on COVID-19 to ensure that there is smooth sail during this trying time.

She said “The team will deploy appropriate strategy to prevent incidences of corruption that may have negative impact on the efforts of government to deal effectively with the pandemic.
“Its work will complement the efforts of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 with regard to transparency and accountability in the management of the funds.”
