Seyi Shay has described the artistes abusing drugs allegations as “unfair and harsh”.

The beautiful singer had previously been alleged to be into drugs, but she responded to those reports in a classy way – a mini-documentary along with her new “Electric Package Vol 1” EP. Seyi Shay said in the video: “I think that it’s a price that we celebrities have to pay. There’s this stereotype that musicians are into drugs and all they do is smoke weed all day, It’s okay for people to speculate that.”

During Sunday program on NTA, famous DJ Jimmy Jatt and comedian Gbenga Adeyinka noted that drugs never gave a unique growth to the entertainment industry and that those addicted were bound to be shattered by them. “But its not true for many artistes and I think that its unfair to be subject to such harsh accusations,” Seyi adds. Seyi Shay’s “Electric Package Vol. 1” EP features Slimcase, Kiss Daniel, DJ Cuppy, Vanessa Mdee, Flavour and Ghana’s King Promise.
