Uganda’s Election: The Military Has Taken Over Our Home – Bobi Wine Cries Out

Ugandan presidential candidate Bobi Wine has taken to his Twitter page to cry out after the military took over his home today. The presidential aspirant shared on Twitter that the military jumped over the fence of his home and has taken control of his house.

In his tweets he mentioned that they are under siege and in serious trouble as the military intruders have refused to speak with them since they arrived in his home.

Bobi a few hours ago had taken to Twitter to speak on the violence and election malpractice in Uganda’s presidential elections.


The singer rejected the early results of the Presidential polls, which he described as a joke, and has faulted that the elections was marred by fraud and violence. Following the voting, the 38-year-old former musician turned politician who has been the main rival to 76-year-old Museveni, took to Twitter to appreciate the efforts the people for turning up, saying the picture still looked good. Since the beginning of the elections Musevini has been accused by several quarters of military violence and using power to suppress voters.
