Popular Nigerian plus-size singer, Teni Apata allegedly narrowly escapes a kidnap attempt on her by some unknown persons at a show in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. 
According to some reports, it was alleged that the kidnap attempt was stopped by her security detail who had at some point start shooting sporadically in their bid to rescue their principal and get her out of danger safely.

It was further reported that all of the chaos led to a stampede with multiple persons being rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries, no case of death was recorded yet.

At the time of publishing the singer, herself is yet to come out to address the kidnap report be it if it is true or false.
