Following the death of former Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the Senate has asked the Federal government to rename the Ibadan airport after the deceased Senator.
As the house session went on, Senator Abdulfathai Buhari had raised a motion which was seconded by Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

A one- minute silence had been observed in respect of the deceased who had been a member of the Fifth Senate from 2003 to 2007.
