There Are Over 30,000 Armed Bandits Operating In Zamfara – Gov Matawalle

Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has disclosed that there are over 30,000 armed bandits in his state and across the 5 other North-Western states of the country. Bello Matawalle Bandits

The Governor who disclosed this through his newly appointed State Commissioner for Information Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara during a news briefing in Kaduna State, on Friday, April 2nd, Gov Matawalle noted that there were over 100 bandit camps in Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna and Niger State, with each having no less than 300 members.

Governor Bello Matawalle went further to noted that Federal Government does not at the moment have an adequate amount of troops to fight this insecurity scourage in the North-West region of the country, as he reveals that there are less than 6000 troops operating across the 6 North-West states leaving the current insecurity situation in the region at a precarious edge.Terror Attacks In Zamfara Have Reduced Drastically – Governor Matawalle
