Meek Mill Covers XXL Magazine…Writes Letter To Younger Self

Maybach Music Rapper, Meek Mill is going to be the face on the cover of XXL Magazine’s Fall 2018 Issue. 

The former boyfriend of Nicki Minaj had a lot to say in the interview. He wrote a letter to his younger self saying:
“In 2018, black lives won’t matter much more than they do in 2006.”
Meek Mill letter is dedicated to his 2006 self, that was the time before he became famous and successful. he writes:
“It’s your job to show poor black kids from 12th street to Compton how to go hard for their rights,”
“I need you to focus on the weight of your talent and how it aligns with your purpose.
“I know, right now, life is tough, but you have to believe me when I say it’s only temporary.”
The rapper also mentioned his jail time which he did 6 months for breaking parole:

“You can be that mirror to the youth, the example that it is possible to turn two handcuffs into an Audemar and a Rollie.”
“You have the ability to turn your mugshot into a flashlight that exposes an incredibly unjust judicial system.”
The rapper spent 6 month in jail in 2017 after being previously convicted in 2008 on drug dealing and gun charges.
