Kaduna State has successfully converted the NYSC Camp in the state, located along Kaduna – Abuja Road into an isolation centre for Coronavirus cases.
This is coming after the state’s toll hit 5, with its Governor El-Rufai testing positive to the virus.Giving an update on the state of the isolation centre and other measures the State Government is putting in place to curb the further spread of the disease, El-Rufai’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Maryam Abubakar took to Twitter to note that people coming into the state will be stopped at the point of entry and quarantined at the isolation centres or returned. “Effective tomorrow, 9th of April, Travelers into Kaduna State will be stopped at entry points and given the option of returning to their departure point or be quarantined for 14 days. The NYSC Camp along Abj-Kad road will be used as a temporary isolation facilty“, the tweet reads.
