The Super Eagles of Nigeria will definitely be heading into the Russia 2018 world-cup with a high fashion morale, as their new Nike jersey has been rated as the best in the world by GQ fashion magazine.
The Eagles unveiled the new jersey’s in their friendly match against England few weeks ago. The colourful jersey, which went out for nothing less than N41,000 completely sold-out on its first day in the market.
The jersey was mainly purchased by Nigerians in diaspora and several foreigners. Despite the Eagles poor run almost all their pre-world cup friendlies, we are 100% sure that the world will be talking about the Nigerian team in all our matches.
The Super Eagles’ jersey stand above all others on the list, with the magazine describing it as “eccentric and off-the-wall in the best possible way.” Co-incidentally, Croatia’s checked red and white at second place, while Nigeria’s third match world cup opponent, Argentina, were ranked third.
