Drake Paid £280,000 To Instagram Model To Settle Rape Case

Rapper Drake has paid £280,000 to a woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her during a UK tour.

Rihanna’s ex, 32, agreed to the settlement even though he was cleared of any wrongdoing by British cops. Now accuser Layla Lace, 32, has revealed details of the payment and alleged attack in court papers filed in New York where she is suing her lawyer.

Drake’s team say she is lying and have asked law enforcers to investigate. In the papers, US model Layla – real name Laquana Morris – alleges Drake forced her to perform a sex act on him.

She adds it “wasn’t ordinary, it was more so a fetish”. The graphic details cannot be printed in an online platform but involve a measuring cup. The incident is said to have happened in Manchester in 2017 during Drake’s Boy Meets World tour.

Last autumn the One Dance star filed a lawsuit against Layla for extortion and defamation after she asked for more cash. Sources close to Drake say cops cleared him because Layla’s story “simply isn’t true”.Photo Credit: Getty
