Crossover Protest: Sowore, Others Arrested In Abuja

Sowore Crossover Protest
Just as the new year began, Human Rights activist and media executive Omoyele Sowore, alongside many others have been arrested in Abuja as they held a crossover protest.
Recall that as a means to control the 2nd wave of the deadly COVID-19, the Federal Government had imposed a 12am – 4am curfew nationwide.
The former Presidential aspirant, however, convened a crossover protest, asking Nigerians to show their grievances with placards and lit candles as they transition into a new year. This led to gatherings in Abuja, Kaduna and some parts of Lagos.
