Nigerian human rights activist and media executive, Omoyele Sowore has called for a crossover protest against the current administration.
The SaharaReporters founder made the call in a tweet he sent out via his personal Twitter account, asking if there is anyone willing to participate.
Not calling for a walk or a gathering, Sowore recommended that Nigerians get a placard and candle, do videos of them showing their grievances against the administration and flood their social media pages with the videos and pictures. While some Nigerians agree with him, some just want peace to reign.

“How about a CrossOver Protest/Uprising tonight? Anyone willing to participate? Pick up a candle and a placard showing your grievances against the regime, let’s upload our short videos and photos across our Social Media platforms. Let’s welcome the regime to a RESOLUTE 2021!”, he tweeted. See reactions below:
