COVID-19: January 18th School Resumption Date Is No Longer Feasible – FG Says

The federal government has disclosed that the January 18th date for school resumption is not feasible as people are not complying by the COVID-19 rules and cases of the corona virus keeps increasing by the day.

According to reports, the federal government said that they would rather review the date for school resumption across the country, attributing the decision to the second wave of COVID-19 currently ravaging the country.

In the same vain, the minister of education, Adamu Adamu, while answering questions during a press briefing by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in Abuja said;
“On the January 18 resumption date, we are reviewing it. We are going to review it. At the PTF meeting today, we considered it, and tomorrow, the ministry is going to take it up.”
