South African President, Jacob Zuma, became a hot topic on Tuesday morning when stories that he defied the African National Congress’s (the governing political party) order to resign went viral.
The African National Congress have reportedly resolved to recall him, invoking the clause in the party’s constitution that gives the body the powers to recall any public representative.
However, the party is yet to announce the recall, though, they were expected to write to Zuma this morning, informing him of the decision. The ever-funny South African social media community have started drafting a retirement plan for Zuma. See some hilarious tweets of the retirement plan below:
