Award-winning artiste Wizkid has carpeted rappers dismissing them as broke. This came as a surprise to netizens as the singer is not in the habit of shading artists.
On Friday, he said rap was dead, a development that elicited mixed reactions.
In a series of post , Wizkid wrote: “Y’all not even rappers nasty C, Sardokie and Black Sherif are the real rappers in Africa. Y’all dumb fucks Y’all keep sending una popsy rap video! I go dey watch. Maybe I fit help una mama life”
“Can’t believe y’all broke boys thought broke big wiz will talk about y’all. Wow. Broke boys.”
Social media has been buzzing no-stop since Wizkid went hard on all the rappers, fans and followers alike.
Twitter users were concerned that Machala, as he loved being called, did not even see it fit to regard his close friend, Olamide as one of the rappers on the continnet.
Rappers like Blacqbonez, Show Dem Camp, MI, Ladipoe, Oladips and the like have however come out, saying that they are holding down the rap game on the continent and nobody, nt even Wizkid can deny him that right.

As expected, his fans, popularly called FC, swung to his defence, and supported everything he said, claiming that Nigerian rappers are dead.
