Wife Of Kogi State Speaker Of House Of Assembly Is Dead

In a painful announcement, the Kogi State Speaker of the House Of Assembly, Honourable Matthew Kolawole loses his wife, Mrs Esther Zainab Kolawole to the cold clutches of death after a brief illness, Mrs Kolawole passed on Sunday morning, December 5th. Kogi State' Matthew Kolawole

According to a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Femi Olugbemi, said Mrs Esther Kolalwole died in the early hours of Sunday, December 5th, in a Lagos Hospital.

Speaking further, Olugbemi said Mrs Kolawole was 50-year-old as at the time of her passing.

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has expressed shock and true sadness over the passing away of Pastor (Mrs) Esther Kolawole.

Governor Yahaya Bellow in a condolence message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, said he was devastated by the news of the passing of the State house of Assembly speaker, saying, it is a trying and tough moment for the state.

Gov Bello described Pastor Kolawole as a virtuous and God-fearing woman who stood firmly behind her husband at all times in the course of the marital journey until she was called home.

He said the state government will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Rt Hon Mathew and his family at these trying times.

According to Femi Olugbemi, the burial arrangements will be announced later. He said she is survived by her husband, children, siblings and an aged mother.
