Nollywood star Juliet Ibrahim has slammed women for being quick to slut-shame each other anytime there is a disagreement between them. The actress in a post shared on her social media page explained that women easily call each other whores and hoes when a fight breaks out and it is an extremely wrong approach.
She explained that it is not okay when the male gender calls a female a slut and so we should not make it acceptable when women slut-shame each other as well.Juliet noted that words like slut’ and ‘whore’ still possess the power to destroy the lives of individual women and young girls. She appealed to women to stop the double standards and focus on supporting each other rather than bringing each other down as women.
