The relationship between BBNaija 2019 winner Mercy Eke and businessman Cubana Chiefpriest is pretty unclear and is so raising controversy in the minds of people.
The Executive Director of the Cubana Group had shown Mercy massive support right from when she was in the BBNaija house and a few days after she emerged the winner and got out of the house, he shared pictures of the reality star on his Instagram page, seeming to have endorsed her as his Moet Henessy brand ambassador.

The club owner, however, deleted all her photos from his social media page and unfollowed her which suggests two things – either the deal was an audio endorsement deal or there was a strain in their relationship.
This got both Mercy and Cubana to be dragged by Tacha’s and Mercy’s fans respectively, one fighting mocking the BBNaija winner and the other, shading the businessman for ridiculing her favourite. There was no information or details of the deletion and cancellation from either Mercy or Cubana but there was a report from Jude Bonnisson, a social media influencer. This metamorphosed into an ambassadorial deal with Cubana Group’s Mario and Juliet baby diapers for Mercy and since then, they have seemingly been cool. Mercy had constantly been seen on social media stalking Cubana’s Instagram page with comments and the only thing she kept reiterating is that he is her brother. She took to Instagram to share a video of the moment as she chatted happily, smiling and looking the businessman in the face sternly. After this though, what else is happening? Is the Moet Henessy endorsement coming back or it is gone forever? Was it even an audio endorsement? We surely will learn more as the events unfold. But for now, Cubana Chiefpriest is Mercy Eke’s brother!
