Yesterday evening the world witnessed as young Nigerians were murdered in cold blood as military men under the order of the executive president of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari killed, murdered and brutalized protesters who had been protesting for days at the Lekki toll-gate.
Earlier on Tuesday, a 24-hour curfew had been declared by the Lagos State Government which was suppose to start at 4 pm and extend till 4 pm Wednesday, later the Curfew was extended but that had a little too late.

As officials of the Lekki Concession Company had earlier on Tuesday evening removed CCTV cameras from the tollgates.
Around 7pm, the floodlights and display boards at the tollgates were also switched off, putting the entire area in total darkness.
Soon afterwards, security agents began opening fire on protesters.
