Ace vocal queen, songstress Waje Orubebe has taken time out to school those who are misinformed and miseducated on what true feminism is all about in a post that led to a further exchange between herself on Instagram. 
The singer explained feminism to be respecting diverse women’s experiences, identities, knowledge and strengths and striving to empower all women to realise their full rights. She explained it as being levelling the playing field between both genders and ensuring that diverse women and girls have the same opportunities in life that is available to men and boys.

Waje further noted that many feminists are married to amazing men, this was in reaction to the lady that said the lady who introduced her to feminism got married just some days ago and she was left stranded with no one to celebrate even Valentine with.
