Vice President Shettima Meets Gov Abiodun In Ogun

Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima is currently visiting Ogun State.

Shettima arrived in Abeokuta, the state capital, on Thursday afternoon, reportedly on a working visit.

The Former Borno State Governor was received into the state by Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele and other top government functionaries joined Abiodun in welcoming the Vice President to Ogun.

In other news, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South under the platform of the Young Progressive Party, YPP, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Ubah won another four-year term in Nigeria’s Senate during the February 25 general election.

Ubah was attacked last year at Nkwọ Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of the State in 2022.

He lost his trusted personal assistant, a private photographer and two security details attached to him.
