Versace To Recreate JLo’s Grammy 2000 Jungle Print Plunge Dress As Sneakers

Italian luxury fashion label Versace is bringing back American actress Jenifer Lopez’s jungle print plunge gown which she wore at the 2000 Grammy awards, as a pair of sneakers.

This came after the brand collaborated with a clothing label, Concepts, to remake the legendary print as a unisex shoe, in order to mark JLo’s upcoming 50th birthday alongside the Versace dress’s 20th anniversary.Versace to recreate JLo's grammy outfit as sneakersThe shoe, which has been named Chain Reaction will retail for $1075 and will come in a limited version. WWD reports that the sneakers will feature the same green jungle print as the original garment, with a nude tongue to represent the gown’s extremely plunging neckline.

The actress had previously admitted that wearing the dress at the 2000 Grammy Awards is probably her biggest fashion moment ever, as it was created just a few days before she stepped onto the red carpet.
