The United States has denied a press release claiming that it is offering new work visas to Nigerians aged 40-55. The US Mission in Nigeria debunked the statement in a post shared on its official Twitter page explaining that it is a scam.
The mission explained that it is an old trick used by scammers on Nigerians but this time it has been repackaged in a fresh format. It appealed to Nigerians to be careful and stay alert in order to avoid being scammed. It mentioned that any questions about whether visa information is legitimate should be directed only to official sources
