The United state has announced that it has cancelled all visa appointments in Nigeria following the outbreak of coronavirus. The announcement was made via the official Twitter handle of the US embassy in Nigeria.
According to the statement released for all visa applicants the embassy is canceling all visa appointments in order to ensure the safety of everyone. “As of March 18, US Embassy Abuja & Consulate Lagos are cancelling routine non-immigrant visa appointments. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible. The MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application within 1 year of date of payment”
