UNICAL 300-Level Female Student Dies In Auto Crash

A300-Level female student of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Cross River State, who was involved in a motor accident, has been confirmed dead.

A source from the University told KOKO TV NG that the student identified as Chioma Lillian, a student of the Department of Geology died in a fatal motor accident while travelling back to school from her home.

The source said, “UNICAL lost another 300 level student, Chioma Lillian from the Department of Geology in a fatal motor accident while travelling back to school.”

UNICAL was in the news on Sunday when KOKO TV NG reported how some students and past students of the University of Calabar narrated to a probe panel how the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law in the school, Prof. Cyril Ndifon allegedly sexually molested and harassed them in his office.

The probe panel set up by the University of Calabar to investigate allegations of sexual harassment of female students by the suspended Dean of the school’s Faculty of Law, University of Calabar (UNICAL), Prof. Cyril Ndifon, had found the senior lecturer guilty of gross misconduct.
