Popular American cartoonist and illustrator of popular series, Tom and Jerry, Gene Deitch has passed away at the age of 95.
According to reports, the award winner illustrator kicked the bucket in his home in Prague.
Apart from the popular cartoon, Jerry, he also illustrated others such as Munro, Tom Terrific, Nudnik, as well as Popeye.

Tributes have since begun to pour in to eulogize the artist.
