American Golf champion, Tiger Woods, who recently won his fifth Masters last month is set to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom when he visits President Donald Trump at the White House next week. This was revealed by CNN, who revealed that Tiger Woods will be visiting the White House next week, where he will be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Trump.
The exact date of his visit is not yet known however, it is certain that the golf master will be getting the award. Trump while congratulating Tiger when he won his fifth master shared that: Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!.” 
This medal according to the executive order designating the award, is given to people who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”
