The embattled Delta Central Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege, has insisted that despite the appeal filed by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, against the Federal High Court’s decision tonullify his suspension, he will still resume legislative duties.
Senator Omo-Agege announced that he has the legal rights to resume his duties because Saraki have only applied for a stay of execution at the Court of Appeal which has not been granted.
According to Punch, Senator Omo-Agege also accused Bukola Saraki of seeking the relief for a stay of execution from a court of law which he had already ignored and gone ahead to approve his suspension.
