The Third Mainland Bridge has been reopened by the Federal Government after it was closed down for maintenance some days ago.Â
Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mr Olukayode Popoola announced that the 3rd Mainland bridge has been reopened after the maintenance works going on it had been completed, the bridge was reopened at midnight of January 31st.
The Federal Controller Mr Olukayode Popoola disclosed that the Lagos State Government and all necessary agencies had been updated and notified of the bridge’s reopening for public use.
“The casting of the expansion joints was completed on Saturday. Therefore, the Third Mainland Bridge will be opened by 12 midnight of January 31.
“Motorists can start plying the bridge as from 12 midnight.”
