The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, has revealed how he watched England’s recent World Cup victory and avoided finding out the score all afternoon as he embarked on an historic visit to the Middle East.
The footie-mad prince was seen finally getting to watching the 6-1 victory over Panama as Kensington Palace shared a picture of him enjoying the game after dinner at the Beit Al Urdun Palace in Jordan. But it seemed no one was paying too much attention to the second heir to the British throne – and instead focused on “cutie” the Crown Prince of Jordan, who was sat beside him. Hani Lee wrote: “Crown Prince of Jordan is fineeee” and Amy Hunter asked: “Can you bring the Crown Prince of Jordan home with ya too?”
Lucy wrote: “Ok I’m off to Jordan” while another woman shared a gif of Friend’s character Joey saying his classic chat-up catchphrase: ‘How you doin’?’Â Shaniqua later added a meme featuring the words: ‘Lawd Jesus! That boy is fine (sic)” alongside the caption: “That Crown Prince of Jordan though.”
William and the Crown Prince of Jordan looked relaxed as they reclined on a huge grey corner sofa in the Crown Prince of Jordan’s swanky royal bachelor pad.
They appeared to be toasting England’s success with just water as they watched the game on a massive screen – after the Crown Prince recorded the match from earlier in the day.
In the corner of the room was a huge armchair in the shape of a baseball glove, that was sat on top a plush black and white stripe rug.
