#TBT: 4 Legendary Dance Styles We Thought We Will Never Forget

Over the years, the automatically joyful state of most Nigerians have created several dance styles and patterns that eventually became a synonymous part of every form of celebration.

Due to the nationwide recognition of these styles, we basically felt they will never fade away, but the natural law of time and tide eventually made them “old school” styles that new generation kids know little or nothing about. Some of them are:
Dance Styles
1. Galala: This thrilling dance style came along with Marvelous Benjy’s hit single, “Galala.” It was the puerest definition of “Ajegunle” dance style.

2. Suo: This thriller was also created by the evergreen Marvelous Benjy crew. However, the likes of Danfo Drivers eventually dropped singles that made the dance style applicable to almost every pattern.

3. Yahoozee: This unforgettable dance style was invented by the legendary Olumaintain.

4. Alanta: The origin of this dance has been a topic of controversy by many Nigerian music lovers. Some say the dance was invented by Artquake, while others said it was introduced by a group of Ajegunle singers.
