Former Inter Milan defender, Javier Zanetti has disclosed one of the weirdest moments he and some of the team mates had with Taribo West, who has now left professional football to yield ministerial calling.
In a recent Instagram live video with former teammate Christian Vieri, Zannetti revealed this while recalling some of the weird thing the footballer cum clergy did while they played together for Inter Milan.
He first revealed how Taribo West had disappeared from trainings and all, only to show up a month after saying he got married and a month vacation was necessary. Speaking on the dinner cum prayer warrior meeting, Zannetti noted that the Nigerian star invited he and some teammates to have dinner together and on getting there, he made them pray for so long that they were all frustrated and had no choice than to leave without having the dinner they came for. “A month disappeared in January. He returned after a month and said I got married, a month of vacation is expected in my country. Another time he invited us to dinner, we arrived at 8-9 and he prayed. An hour, two hours, three hours. We went away without dinner“, he said.
