Nigeria’s Super Eagles Drops On FIFA Ranking….Here’s Their Latest Position

According to the latest FIFA Coca Cola world football rankings released on Thursday, October 24th, the Nigerian Super Eagles drops on the new FIFA ranking from 34th to being ranked the 35th best national team football team in the world.

Nigeria rated the 34th best team in the world following their international friendly against Ukraine which ended 2-2.  Instead of climbing up, the Super Eagles dropped by a position down to 35th in the world but are still third on the African continent behind 20th ranked Senegal and 29th ranked Tunisia, despite an impressive 1-1 draw against Brazil earlier this month. The top four in the world are made up of  Belgium followed by France, Brazil, and England.

Algeria (38th), Morocco (42nd), Egypt (49th), Ghana (51st), Cameroon (52nd), Congo DR (54th) and Côte d’Ivoire (56th) complete the top ten teams in Africa in that order.
