Some students of the Federal Government College, Ijaniki in Lagos have reportedly been caught after absconding from school to lodge female classmates in hotels for sex romps.
The students, who are boarders, had on different occasions jumped the school’s fence with their female counterparts and stayed out of school for days.
The students allegedly involved in the act were between the ages of 14 and 17.
The report gathered that, for more than three sessions, some of the students, numbering about seven males and five females, had been leaving the school unnoticed.

It added that the school management learned about the sex romp after one of the students impregnated a classmate.
The report quoted a source as saying the students engaged in threesomes and heavy use of codeine and molly.
“There is a possibility that some staff are also involved in the whole atrocities,” one source was quoted as saying.
“How will a secondary school student leave the school environment for days without anyone noticing? Some of the staff are benefiting from it somehow.”

Some parents were quoted as blaming the school for negligence while alleging a plot to cover up the scandal.
“This is happening because of the negligence of the principal and the housemasters and mistress. If something like that goes hidden, my children are in that school; they can become victims,” one of the parents argued.
