 A South African young woman who was gang-raped has made news after she stripped naked in front of the South African president and some others in order to show off the scars she sustained during the evil act. The woman identified as Ausi Phindile revealed that she had five surgeries around her abdomen after she was gang raped. Phindile was one of the people who attended the Presidential Gender-Based Violence Summit in South Africa. 
 Phindile while speaking on how women are abused, raped, and murdered by men daily, stripped naked from the waist down to further buttress her story by showing President Cyril Ramaphosa that she too had suffered the same incident. The President announced at the event that the country will launch a national plan to tackle gender-based violence (GBV).
