Singer Ric Hassani Mourns The Death Of His Father

Ace Afropop and soul singer, Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu more popularly known as Ric Hassani, some hours back took to his social media handles to disclose that a week ago he lost his dad, who he sampled his voice on the last track of his newly released album. The 32-year-old love singer crooner, earlier today dropped his 3rd official studio project, tagged “The Prince I Became”, the album which houses 17-tracks, was about heartbreak, love, victory success and hope. Fresh off the memory of losing his dad who passed just a week ago Ric Hassani shared a snippet of himself and his old lacing it with the track “Korede” of his album which he featured his dad’s voice on and he wrote;

“A week ago today, I lost my Dad. He was a great man, a very good person. I learnt so much from him, and he is my Angel now. Rest in Peace Daddy, ‘K.K’ loves you,” he wrote.

In another post he said, “People like your song Dad, I knew your vocals on it will be good. Wish you were here, just one more week. But God knows best.” Ric featured his dad in the song ‘korede’.
