A male nurse, Alfred Aderibigbe, has been remanded in the Ilesa prison for the alleged murder of Davido’s uncle, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.
In a shocking turn of events, the nurse was accused of killing the late Osun state gubernatorial aspirant by drug overdose.
According to a press statement released to Punch on Sunday by the Press Officer of the State Ministry of Justice, Mr. Opeyemi Bello, the nurse, who was arraigned on murder before Justice Ayo Oyebiyi on Friday pleaded not guilty to the charge levied against him.
The state high court judge, Justice Ayo Oyebiyi, in his ruling ordered that the accused should be remanded at the Ilesa Prison till the 29th of June, when the case would come up for hearing. Isiaka Adeleke, a lawmaker at the Red Chamber, died on the 23rd of April 2017.
