Despite having gone through three failed marriages, Nollywood actress Shan George has not given up on love and marriage but may be taking her time before attempting another union.
In a recent interview, the veteran actress, who was recently appointed the Chairman, Callywood Board by Cross River Governor, Ben Ayade, disclosed her plans and thoughts on getting married again, disclosing that one of she reasons she may not want to consider marriage is fear.
Shan George noted that she is the only child of her parents and so, growing up she had always defended herself as there is no one to do so. This, according to her, made her man up to so many challenges and anything that seem like a threat to her may get her to overreact. She added that as a result, she it might take a man who will see her as his own sister for her to reconsider marriage. “Marriage! Hmmm..to be very fair, one of the reasons that would make me not to consider marrying again is because I am scared. I am an only child and all my life, I have always defended myself by myself, because it was just me. When people bully me, I man up and challenge them. So, right now, little things that seem like a threat to me, I could possibly overreact. It might have to take someone who truly sees me as a sister for anything marriage to happen again. I am just scared, let me carry my cartons of trouble and maintain my lane“, she said.
