The Spanish side and Europa League specialist Sevilla has tonight come from a goal down to defeat Antonio Conte’s side Inter Milan 3-2 to win the UEFA Europa League title in Cologne, Germany.
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku put his Inter Milan side in front from the penalty spot 5 mins into the game. Sevilla just like they did against Man Utd in the semi-final rally back and score two goals through Dutch striker Luuk De Jong in the 13min and in the 33rdmin. But the Spanish side’s lead didn’t last long as Inter Milan defender Diego Godin equalised for the Serie A side 3mins later.
The game ended 2-2 in the first-half with Inter Milan seemingly having an upper hand looking like the team to go on to win and lift the Europa League trophy, Sevilla forward Diego Carlos said that wasn’t to be scoring the winner in the 74th minutes. Though Romelu Lukaku did lose a glorious chance to restore parity.
