Many have come and said that the Nigerian politics is a joke, with the people involved not having any core morals and values but are only after their selfish interest. This notion was brought about when news of senators and political leaders started deflecting from one party to another just because things weren’t going their way, this deflection were happening between the two major political parties. 
A new member has joined the club of senators who have deflected from one party to another, Senator Ahmad Lawan who was elected under the platform PDP in 2015 and represented Gombe south senatorial district, has now deflected to APC because he lost his reelection bid to a serving member of the House of Representatives, Binta Bello. The announcement of the deflection was made by the Senate leader during the plenary on Wednesday, November 28.
