Nollywood Actors have begun an online protest calling on the reopening of Cinemas across the federation following months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film makers all across social media have posted photos calling on the FG to reopen since all other aspects of the economy have been reopened.
The filmakers explained that a huge part of their revenue come from cinema viewings and that the cinema owners have agreed to put in place all necessary COVID-19 regulations to ensure that people who visit the cinemas are adequately protected. Nollywood actors like Osas Ighodaro, Falz, Omotola, Toyin Abraham, Rita Dominic have shared their thoughts on the continuous closure of cinemas.
