Residents of northern India’s Himachal Pradesh state were thrown into a deep state of sadness as a bus conveying 30 people, 27 of which were children, plunged off a cliff on Monday.
The local police confirmed that 30 people, including 27 children, were killed today in the northern Indian state when a school bus drifted off a cliff.
A local police operative, Santosh Patialma told reporters from AFP that: “The bus rolled into a 200 feet-deep (60 meters) gorge, killing 27 schoolchildren, two teachers and the driver, from the scene around 325 kilometres from the state capital Shimla.”
