Real Madrid Shortlist Two Managers As Ancelotti’s Replacement

Real Madrid have reportedly started weighing their options as the Los Balancos are looking at rehiring their former managers, Jose Mourinho or Zinedine Zidane as Carlo Ancelotti’s potential replacement at the club.

As per a report in El Nacional, Mourinho and Zidane are leading the race to become the next Real Madrid manager after their recent thrashing in the hands of English Champions, Manchester City in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid fell flat at the Etihad 4-0 after a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu to make it an aggregate score of 5-1.

Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez is desperate to see Los Blancos get back to the top next season.

The report added that Real Madrid are not happy with Ancelotti’s failure this season and are looking to replace the Italian.

Real Madrid are ending the season with just the Copa del Rey trophy as they recently crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Manchester City.

Ancelotti’s side also lost this season’s La Liga title to Barcelona.
