#BuhariResign: Senator Abaribe Asks President To Resign, Nigerians React

Senate minority leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe called for President Buhari to resign immediately following the escalating security challenges in all the country.
Senator Abaribe made this call yesterday while addressing the Senate in a plenary session yesterday. He noted that the current APC administration was reelected in 2019 as the party’s main manifesto was to ensure security. Noting that hte administration had failed in that aspect, he suggested that the President resign.
This call so makes sense to Nigerians and currently, #BuhariResign and #BuhariOut are two of the trending topics on the Nigerian twitter scene. Tweeps reeled out their support for the resign, digging up a story of how President Buhari had asked his predecessor Goodluck Jonathan to resign, saying he is incompetent.
