Whopping! See How Much Kano Will Be Spending On Ramadan Feeding

Kano State Government has revealed that it will be spending N345 million on feeding the less priviledged during the Ramadan season. The revelation was made through the state Commissioner of Information, Youth and Culture, who is also the state chairman Ramadan feeding monitoring committee, Malam Muhammad Garba.

The commissioner said that the administration sustained the annual feeding programme in order to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged in the state. He said the committee would monitor the preparation and distribution of the meals to ensure the success of the feeding programme. Malam Garba warned that the state would not hesitate to cancel the contract of any cook or distributor found to be sabotaging the programme.
