PSG Continues Extraordinary Summer With Kylian Mbappé Deal

French side Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Monaco for Kylian Mbappe as they are set to sign the 18-year-old forward on a season-long loan with the obligation to buy him for £166m next summer. The only complications relating to the deal is PSG purchase of Neymar earlier this summer.PSG can only sign Mbappé once UEFA determines that the £200million purchase of Neymar did not break any Financial Fair Play. Real Madrid, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona have all been credited with an interest in the whizkid but it seems PSG has won the race.Financial Fair Play was introduced by UEFA to stop clubs involved in European competition from spending more than they earn. The basic principle is that, beyond a small loss currently set at £4.6m over three years, clubs’ outgoings must match their incomings.Photo Credit: Getty
